Week In Review 4/20 – 4/25

Sooo, I’m a little late on the “week in review” post. But hey, it’s #quarantinelife and who is really keeping up with the day of the week, not me. This post won’t be very long because I felt like I was kind of absent from Instagram last week. I keep going through these phases where I want to be on stories all the time sharing everything and then not wanting to post anything at all because I feel like it’s all dumb and uninteresting. I truly need to find a good balance because I love interacting with you guys on Instagram but don’t want to come off annoying. Make sense? This next week I’m focusing on doing less mindless scrolling on social media and instead trying to provide some value so we will see how that goes.

So in case you’ve been living under a rock, the Sephora Spring Sale is happening. There’s still time to shop. I rounded up some of my Everyday Makeup Picks that you can check out HERE! These are all items I have and love.

Wednesday a crazy thunderstorm came through and I decided to do some yoga outside while it rained. Typically Wednesday is our mid week rest day but I really enjoyed getting some great stretching in with a virtual yoga class. I posted this photo wearing one of my favorite Amazon sports bras. This one is longer and comes in some super cute prints.

Thursday I actually got dressed for some work Zoom conference calls. I wore this adorable yellow sweater and my favorite Levi jeans I found on Amazon.

Friday we spent the day working on some house things. We have a few projects going on including an outdoor kitchen build and updating a few things on the inside with decor and furniture. I’ll be sharing soon on stories :). Friday night was our weekly “Mexican + Margaritas” from Silver Star Cantina and more porch sitting while the storm rolled in.

Saturday started with some ice rolling and eye masks (see margaritas comment above) and a great workout. We ended Saturday with a neighborhood porch concert on our new picnic blanket.

Sunday we made a brunch of biscuits and gravy (plus mimosas of course) and decided we needed an inflatable pool. Who knew a $20 pool could bring so much joy haha!

Hope you all have a fantastic week and do something that brings you joy (even if it is at the expense of your neighbors laughing at your blow up pool, ha!)
